4th International CAFE Conference coming up!
You can sign up now for the fourth International CAFE Conference, due to take place virtually for the first time, on 9-10 December 2021.
The International CAFE Conference offers a unique chance to network and meet with many people across all aspects of the game. The event will bring stakeholders together to reflect, assess and understand the power of sport to act as a catalyst for disability-inclusive change in wider society. EFDN Partner CAFE’s three previous International Conferences were held at Wembley Stadium in 2011, the Stade de France in 2015 and the Estadio San Mamés, Bilbao, in 2018. The events brought together disabled fans, clubs, leagues, national associations and sporting governing bodies, as well as stadium architects, disability and equality advocates and other key stakeholders from within the game and the disability sector. This year, due to ongoing travel restrictions across Europe and the rest of the world, the Conference will take place virtually which will allow for more attendees than ever before.
The conference will take place on Thursday 9 December (12:00 – 19:00 CET) and Friday 10 December (09:00 – 19:00 CET). There are already a number of important topics on the agenda for the International CAFE Conference 2021, with sessions and speakers to be announced during the coming week. This year’s event will expand beyond football and Europe with appearances from representatives of other sports and regions. Attendance at the virtual Conference is free of charge. Access and language requirements can be submitted upon registration.
