21st EFDN #MoreThanFootball Conference in Warsaw Coming Up!

The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) will host its 21st EFDN Conference from 22-24 April 2024 in Warsaw, Poland. The topic of this EFDN Conference will be “#MoreThanFootball”, which will take place at the Legia Warsaw Stadium, the stadium of EFDN Member Legia Warszawa, co-hosted by Fundacja Legii, Legia’s Foundation.

This event, co-hosted by Legia and Fundacja Legia, will be the next European gathering for our environmental, social and governance (ESG) network after the successful 20th EFDN Conference that took place in Athens in November 2023, hosted by EFDN Member AEK FC in the venue of their stadium the Athens Olympic Stadium.

The EFDN Conferences serve as a unique platform for both ESG experts and newcomers to exchange insights on various topics, including fundraising, environmental sustainability, anti-discrimination, social inclusion, online safeguarding, physical activity across age groups, and STEM education. The conference format includes panels, breakout sessions, study visits, and roundtables, fostering networking and collaboration among EFDN members and ESG experts in football.

This event acts as a comprehensive summary of the #MoreThanFootball Action Weeks, highlighting football’s substantial impact on social, governance, economic, and environmental objectives. Showcasing impactful projects, it facilitates substantive discussions, providing a global ESG-focused audience with strategic networking opportunities. The intricately designed EFDN Conference empowers football entities to implement innovative #Morethanfootball initiatives within their communities, contributing to overall sustainability objectives. The full programme will be announced soon on the official conference website, https://www.efdnconference.org/.
