14TH EFDN CONFERENCE – FULL PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED

The full programme for the 14th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Breda, The Netherlands, has been confirmed and you can download it here!

We have an exciting line-up ahead, featuring break-out sessions, practical workshops, monitoring and evaluation initiatives, high profile presentations and study visits, all designed to help participants and experts share the perspectives of Europe’s leading football clubs and organisations on community and social responsibility.

REGISTRATION AND CONFERENCE FEES 

Join us and meet representatives from more than 80 European clubs, leagues and FAs! 

The 14th EFDN conference is only available to representatives of European Football clubs, Leagues and Football Associations. EFDN Members have access to free passes as per their membership package and can redeem them by completing the Registration Form. Additional passes are available to EFDN Members for €175 per additional person. Non-members can purchase One Day passes for either one day or a Full Delegate Pass for both the 24th and 25th of March 2020. One Day Delegate Passes are available for 24th March (€250) or 25th March (€200).

PROGRAMME 

MONDAY 23RD MARCH:

At 4:30 pm, we will kick off the week with the General Assembly (EFDN members only) followed by the official welcome evening at Old Dutch Restaurant at 7:00 pm.

TUESDAY 24TH MARCH:

We will kick-off our 14th Conference at 9:00 am with an opening presentation. We will have 3 breakout sessions throughout the day, involving the likes of Michael Thomsen – FC St. Pauli (CSR Strategy & Fan Involvement)Justin Coleman – Alliance of Sport in Criminal Justice (Theory of Change)Bas Schreurs – FC Twente (Social Cohesion) and many more! In addition, at 12:15 pm guests will be able to attend a panel discussion, on the topic of ‘Women’s Equality in European Football’. Leagues and FAs will meet in specifically tailored breakout sessions and will see presentations from FIFA and The Commonwealth. At 3:30 pm will be the Study Visits, which will include projects such as, Community Champions League. To conclude the day at 7:00 pm, our attendees will have the official EFDN Network Dinner at the Big Church in Breda.

WEDNESDAY 25TH MARCH:

Doors will open at 9:00 am, followed by a presentation on EFDN programmes, fundraising and partnerships.  Followed by roundtables and the opportunity to network with all attendees of the conference. At 11:45 am and 1.15 pm we will have more breakout sessions, from Sharon Dale & Luke Wilkinson – Derby County Community Trust (Mental Health)Ian Boyd & Sam Crawford – Notts County in the Community (Community Hub) and many more! Dutch clubs and organisations meet in special breakout sessions throughout the day to discuss and share ideas. The final breakout session will be followed by more fantastic presentations, on EFDN Healthy Football League and CSR Communication.  The day will be concluded at 3:00 pm with the closing speech, followed by a stadium tour of the Rat Verlegh Stadium.

OVERALL, THE SCHEDULE AT THE CONFERENCE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Interactive sharing of knowledge: Break-out sessions and specifically tailored round-table sessions challenging conference attendees to share experiences and best practices

  • Networking: Participants also have the opportunity to network with CSR business leaders and development visionaries
  • Partnerships: EFDN will present new programmes and funding opportunities
  • Sightseeing: Attendees will have the time to explore the beautiful city center of Breda and will be dining in the stunning “Grote Kerk” which is the main landmark of the city
