OM FONDATION
Founded in 1899, the club plays in the French Ligue 1 and has won nine Ligue 1 titles, ten Coupes de France and three Coupes de la Ligue. In 1993, coach Raymond Goethals led the team to become the first and only French club to win the UEFA Champions League.

Olympique de Marseille strives to transform the passion of its fans, the dedication of its employees and the power of its brand into a vehicle of cultural development, economic opportunity and social responsibility in underprivileged communities.
Launched in October 2017, the OM Foundation forms an integral part of the “OM Champion Project”. Along with high sports performance, an innovative fan experience and long-term financial stability, building stronger ties with the community represents one of the club’s top priorities. Our goal is to become an impactful social actor fully integrated within the city of Marseille.

Dedication of our employees
The club is particularly proud of the corporate volunteering programme “#OM Volontariat” destined for its employees. The club offers them the opportunity to take on their office hours to support the cause of their choice in partnership with local associations. During the 2017-2018 season, 90 volunteer employees spent nearly 400 hours on voluntary activities and field missions. These activities range from homework support in a community centre to renovation work in the park of an underprivileged neighbourhood.
