Opening of the Albert Express

The Albert Flórián Football and Sports Youth Development Foundation carried on pursuing its goals in 2016. It offered tuition-free education for our athletes in need, as well as in the context of a talent development programme. Besides, we provided special grants for young athletes and organized for the fifth time the traditional Albert Family Day in August.
The foundation not only works with the youngest Fradi fans and athletes, but also preserves the Kaiser’s fame by organizing the Albert exhibition series and launching the Albert express with a mini exhibition paying tribute to the Kaiser in its dining car. The Albert Express visited the Mór Wine Days this October: the train departed from Western Station Budapest and transported many Fradi fans and the Association of Fradi Fans to the Wine Days, with the special dining car paying tribute to the only Hungarian Golden Ball-winner.
