#Morethanfootball Action Weeks 2019

The 2019 #Morethanfootball Action Weeks will take place from 19th of March until 9th of April 2019, embracing the International Day of Sport and Peace on 6th of April.

The #Morethanfootball Action Weeks is a campaign for the European football community to showcase the impact of their community and social responsibility activities and programmes and is supported by EFDN, ECA, UEFA Foundation for Children, SPFL and the Pro League. The initiative was launched in 2017 by the European Football for Development Network with the support of the UEFA Foundation for Children. EFDN is proud to conclude that more than 170 organisations from 28 countries took part in the first two #Morethanfootball Action Weeks in 2017 and 2018. Participating organisations included European football clubs, foundations, community trusts, Leagues and FAs.

The new European-wide campaign provides professional football clubs, Leagues, FAs and their related community organisations the opportunity to host events that demonstrate the social impact of their community projects and raise awareness for the transformative role European club football can play in changing people’s lives for the better.

Through the hashtag #Morethanfootball, all organisations will be able to raise awareness for their CSR programmes and activities while being part of the European campaign.
