Health and Wellbeing Conference in Liverpool
Everton in the Community (EitC), in partnership with Edge Hill University, will be delivering its first annual Health and Wellbeing Conference on Friday 15th June 2018. The conference will take place at the Blue Base.
This conference will provide an opportunity for various organisations to learn more about EitC and its five-year academic partnership with Edge Hill University. Organisations that would benefit from attending include football and sports community foundations/ schemes, decision makers from local authorities (especially public health departments), CCGs and NGBs, voluntary and private sector organisations, and researchers.
Share of good practice and information on M&E
The conference will provide opportunities to learn more about a range of innovative and award-winning projects, project Managers will share good practice alongside lessons learnt to help other organisations to develop and refine their delivery. Information will be provided concerning the benefits of these projects in helping to tackle health inequalities alongside reaching the so called ‘hard to reach’.
Edge Hill University will provide information on effective methods of monitoring and evaluation, how to evidence the impact of programmes, discuss what commissioners are looking for, and present real-life examples of how monitoring and evaluation processes have worked effectively. You will also have an opportunity to meet Project Managers at EitC and researchers from Edge Hill University for one-to-one meetings.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The day will also include a tour of the Everton in the Community campus. A free raffle will take place on the day to win official Everton Football Club merchandise. To register for the conference, click here.
