ActivU Kick-Off Seminar in Porto
On the 11th & 12th of February the EFDN will attend the ActivU Kick-Off seminar in Porto, Portugal.
The aim of the event is to discuss the ins and outs of the project and everyone’s roles and responsibilities during the project cycle. Throughout the seminar, attendees will brainstorm ideas centred around how to get inactive people active again.
The ActivU project addresses the topic of encouraging participation in physical activity (PA) by supporting the implementation of the Council, Recommendation on health-enhancing PA, following EU Guidelines. The Activate Healthy Lifestyle through Counselling for You (ActivU) project aims to increase awareness and behavioural change in former active citizens with and without disabilities toward a healthy active lifestyle through the enrichment of counselling and also prescription procedures to enhance the effective use of physical activity and other health-related behaviours.
