8th EFDN ‘More Than Football’ Conference in Lisbon
The 8th EFDN Conference will take place at the iconic Estadio da Luz in Lisbon on the 21st and 22nd of March and will be hosted by our EFDN member Benfica Football Club.
This conference will be our opportunity to launch the Morethanfootball Action week so the event will be themed around our members flagship programmes and the impact these innovative programmes are having within our societies around Europe to compliment the action week.
EFDN expects a great number of promising delegates and leading figures within CSR and Community Engagement in European Football at the conference, who will be actively participating in the Morethanfootball Action week. The conference expects key media channels to the event to support the morethanfootball action week, so not to be missed!
The dynamics of the conference will offer workshops, high profile panels and networking opportunities with leading figures in European Football. Among others, AC Milan and Inter Milan will be presenting at the conference and give insight into a variety of aspects surrounding the conference’s theme ‘More than Football’. Our member clubs and partners have been invited from a wide range of football club backgrounds, also in attendance will be Leagues and Football Associations to join our conference in order to stimulate an environment for learning and sharing good practices in CSR and sustainability in European Football and to showcase the Morethanfootball action week.
We expect more than 100 representatives from clubs, football leagues, football associations, player associations, fan organisations and football for development National Governing Bodies. Remembering our past events and considering the successful steps we took in 2016, we are convinced that the conference constitutes a promising opportunity to have an impact on CSR in European Football.
The EFDN Conference is free of charge for EFDN members. Clubs that are not EFDN members can purchase One Day Delegate Pass or a Full Delegate Pass for both 21st and 22st of March 2017. The delegate passes includes conference participation, lunch, coffee breaks and travel arrangements to the study visits in Lisbon.
