7th EFDN Conference
On 4 and 5 October 2016, the Ibrox Stadium, home of Rangers FC in Glasgow will be the venue for the 7th EFDN Conference; Changing lives through Football. A conference themed on CSR & Sustainability in European Club Football.
The 7th EFDN conference will focus on the vision of CSR in European Club Football and to discuss the collaboration between organisations that are proactive in Europe. The conference will present a wide variety of best practice models and new trends on CSR in European Club Football. We expect to welcome more than 100 representatives from clubs, football leagues, football associations, player associations, fan organisations and football for development National Governing Bodies from more than 20 European countries.
Together, with this gathering of inspirational football for development pioneers, we have created a high quality programme that is designed to capture best practices and current trends in community outreach and social responsibility in European Football. The informal sessions provide plenty of opportunities to spark new ideas that will inspire and change people’s lives through our beautiful game. The programme will showcase best practice projects on Education, Health, Social Inclusion of Refugees, Disability Football, Monitoring and Evaluation of CSR, development of a new CSR strategy, Fan programmes, Stadium Accessibility and much more..
The EFDN Conference is designed for club representatives that work in the areas of CSR, marketing and fan engagement who are new to this area of development or are an experienced practitioner. During the conference we will also be hosting representatives from multiple national Football Associations, Professional Leagues, Player Associations and Fan organisations. Our main focus of the conference is the development of Community and Social Responsibility in European Club Football and to create a sustainable collaboration between the different organisations.
The EFDN Conference is free of charge for EFDN members. Clubs that are not EFDN members can purchase One Day Delegate Pass or a Full Delegate Pass for both 4th & 5th October 2016. The delegate passes includes Conference participation, lunches, coffee breaks and travel arrangements to the study visits in Glasgow.
