1st Show Racism the Red Card seminar in London

In collaboration with network members Brentford FC, Chelsea FC, Club Brugge, Ferencvárosi TC, Inter Milan, Rangers FC, SL Benfica, Werder Bremen, and project partner Geef Racisme de Rode Kaart, EFDN launched the Show Racism the Red Card programme. The 1st seminar will be held on 2nd and 3rd September at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC. 

Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) is a 24-month anti-racism and anti-discrimination programme which is based on the proven concept of the Red Card Campaign delivered in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. SRtRC utilises the high-profile status of football and football players to help tackle racism in society. The project aims to raise awareness of diversity, foster social cohesion, and reduce physical and verbal violence linked to racism.

The 1st seminar will be used to discuss and learn about the objectives and the methodology. The project leaders and staff members will evaluate all gathered data of all current programmes, identify critical success factors and agree on a common M&E approach.
